DJ Wizo

It's been a long time.  Here is a graphite drawing I did today, 11 x 14. I pulled the eyes out through shades for a more dramatic effect.

Center at High Falls - Shapes and Cutouts submissions

Above are the 3 pieces that I am dropping off to Center at High Falls for the Shapes and Cutouts exhibition. At least one of these will make it in; let's keep our fingers crossed for more :)
They are all 11 x 14 collages with 3D cutout flowers. First we have "I wish", then "Shine" and the last one is "Valentine".
First time doing this for me. Wish me luck!

Making art for local shows...

Above are 3 acrylic landscapes I've completed for an event featuring Latino artists. They are each 8 x 10 and are sky scenes of Arizona.

Xander

Here is mylatest commission -- little Xander. I completed this watercolor a few weeks ago and had a great time doing so. It's my normal 11 x 14.

It's been a while since I updated -- here's a Brittany dog I painted for a gift to its owner. His name is Barley and he's just adorable.

A painting I completed for a co-worker's parent's anniversary gift. How great is it when a marriage lasts :) Done in watercolor, 11 x 14.

The Twins Graduated!!!

Congratulations you two! My friend's twins graduated from high school this June and are off to college soon. When I got the invitation for the party, it included "then and now" photos. I thought a drawing of the "then" photo might make a nice, if different, gift for them; so I drew them. The party was today -- great food and lots of family and friends, fun!!! I left before they opened the gift, so I'll have to wait to hear about their expression later. Hope they like it :)
